Hope is an important thing. And some days it shines brighter than others. My cancer journey started two years ago. I had to withdraw from college and spent a month and a half in the hospital. Then I spent another few weeks in the hospital again for my Bone Marrow Transplant, which included Christmas that year. Now I am back in school, one semester away from graduation.
The image came as an expression without words as my art often does, but once I had it I remembered an interview I did about growing after cancer. The words I came up with were Hope and Patience when they asked what I would tell someone who was recently diagnosed. Hope will keep you looking to the future. Patience will get you there.
