The #LetsMakeStuff Creative Workshops are now called Creative Art Workshops!
Do you like to art? Are you a young adult cancer survivor or caregiver?
Each Art Workshop is designed to teach you the basics of an art form such as sketching, comics, painting, jewelry making, crafting, and more. If you’ve never done the activity before, you’re in luck! The instructor will go step-by-step through everything! If you already love the activity and you’re a real pro already, no problem! While some of the tutorials will be more than you need, the rest of the time spent making art and being artsy with other young adult cancer peers will be totally worth it.
How does it work? Each Art Workshop is a 2-hour commitment and occurs via video chat, allowing 15 survivors or caregivers to join wherever they are. The best part? We’ll send you all of the materials you need to participate!
Join the Creative Art Workshops interest list by filling out the form below and picking that you’d like to be notified about Creative Art Workshops. Then we’ll send you an email when you can sign up for the next one! (Pick as many programs as you’d like!)
(Lacuna Loft considers anyone diagnosed with cancer, at any stage of the experience, to be a survivor!)
Upcoming Art Workshops:
- July 20th. 101 Tasks in 1,001 Days Workshop.
- August 21st. Felt Rosette Wreaths for young adult cancer patients and survivors facing metastatic breast cancer.
- September 28th. Paper Mosaic.

Every once in a while an evening of the Young Adult Cancer Hangouts may be of interest to you as well. In the past we’ve had themed hangouts such as “Just Craft.”
