Creative Workshops

#LetsMakeStuff @LacunaLoft

Do you like to art?  Are you a young adult cancer survivor or caregiver?

Welcome to Lacuna Loft’s online series of creative workshops, #LetsMakeStuff @LacunaLoft!

Each workshop is designed to teach you the basics of an art form such as sketching, comics, painting, jewelry making, crafting, and more.  If you’ve never done the activity before, you’re in luck!  The instructor will go step-by-step through everything!  If you already love the activity and you’re a real pro already, no problem!  While some of the tutorial will be more than you need, the rest of the time spent making art and being artsy with other young adult cancer peers will be totally worth it.

We are currently filling two separate creative workshops, at the same time! A Drawing Workshop and a Watercolor Notecards Workshop!  Sign up before they fill up!

So far, we’ve hosted a drawing workshop, a comic sketching workshop, a calligraphy workshop, an embroidery workshop, a chalk art workshop, a yarn workshop, and a bullet journal workshop!  Interested in a specific creative workshop and have a suggestion?  Let us know!

Each workshop is a 2-hour commitment and will occur via video hangout.  12-15 survivors or caregivers can join each time.  Can’t make the dates chosen for a specific workshop?  Don’t worry!  We’ll offer another in the next few months!  Not interested in the activity for a specific workshop?  Don’t worry!  We’ll host an entirely different one soon!

How does it work?  Sign up below and we’ll send you an email when each creative workshop is announced.  Once you’ve officially signed up for one, you’ll receive everything you need to participate in the creative workshop in the mail!  Yep!  We’ll send you just about everything you’ll need!
